    Loading Ramps - User Information & Safety Instructions


    ⚠️ WARNING


    • Ramps must be securely pinned or fastened to the vehicle, trailer, or loading surface before use.

    • Never exceed the rated capacity of the ramps.

    • Never exceed the load capacity of the vehicle, trailer, or loading surface.

    • Always use extreme caution when loading or unloading.

    • Only load and unload on a stable, level surface from flat ground.

    • Ensure no person is in the path of the vehicle or equipment during loading or unloading.

    • Keep all bystanders well clear at all times.

    • Do not step between rungs.

    • Use extra caution in wet conditions, as ramp surfaces will have reduced traction.

    • Use of these ramps while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substance is strictly prohibited.

    • Do not use ramps as a jump, scaffold, bridge, or ladder.

    • To reduce the risk of injury, the use of suitable personal protective equipment is strongly recommended. Leather riggers gloves should always be worn when handling loading ramps.

    LOADING


    • Secure the ramps to the vehicle or trailer prior to use.

    • Position the vehicle square and in line with the ramps.

    • Roll or drive the equipment slowly and steadily up the ramps.

    • Ensure wheels or tracks remain centred on the ramps at all times.

    • Take extra care in wet or slippery conditions to prevent tyre or track slippage.

    • Do not stop on the ramps during loading.

    UNLOADING


    • Secure and position the ramps as described above, directly behind the rear wheels or tracks.

    • Roll or drive the equipment slowly and steadily down the ramps.

    • Keep wheels or tracks centred on the ramps at all times.

    • Do not stop on the ramps during unloading.

    MAINTENANCE


    • It is the user’s responsibility to inspect the ramps and all components before every use.

    • Do not use damaged ramps or components under any circumstances.

    • Maintain ramps with regular cleaning to remove dirt, debris, and contaminants that may affect traction or performance. 

    • Lubricate hinge points on folding ramps frequently
  • 12 month limited warranty

    At Whipps Ramps, we take pride in producing durable, high-quality aluminium loading ramps.


    All aluminium extrusions are hardness tested prior to manufacture and quality checked before leaving our factory. Any material that does not meet our strict standards is rejected.


    This product is covered by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and service conditions.




    Warranty Exclusions


    This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by misuse, including but not limited to:


    Overloading ramps beyond their rated capacity


    Incorrect attachment of ramps to the loading point


    Uneven loading or unloading

    Driving on side rails, channels, or RHS sections


    Improper use voids all warranty coverage.



    We do not offer warranty on misuse of ramps, including - overloading, incorrect attachment of ramps to loading point, uneven loading & unloading, driving on side rails - channel or RHS - stay on ramp tracks/treads only

  • Returns policy

    Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery or collection.


    All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


    Returned products must be unused, undamaged, unmodified, and in their original packaging.


    Once received and inspected, eligible returns may receive a refund, exchange, or store credit for the product price only.


    Original shipping costs are non-refundable.



    Non-Returnable Items


    Custom-made, made-to-order, special order, bulk, or installed products cannot be returned.


    Products that have been used or altered are not eligible for return.



    Damaged or Incorrect Items


    If your product arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us on the day of delivery with photos of the issue.


    We will assess the claim and arrange a replacement or correction as required.




    How to Request a Return


    1. Contact us within 14 days.

    2. Pack the item securely and in a similar way it arrived, with con-note/address label attached and return it to the relevant freight depot.


    3. Once received and inspected, we’ll notify you of your refund or exchange status.


    Refunds


    Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days of inspection.
